Sad news this morning on the death of Pope Francis.  He was a leader of the people and one who never lost his concern for the poor among us.  A very unique pope and we are better for his world leadership.

The days are getting longer, it was light enough for the solar lights to go off before 6am!  High today is in the low 60's.

The second set of garden containers are scheduled to arrive today.  I hope to get them put together by mid week and have all containers filled with as much compost and twigs/small branches needed before adding topsoil.

Last Thursday and Friday we left very early for the Catskills and arrived home late leaving no time to put together posts.  We found new trails to hike and lots of tiny roads in the Catskills.  And the nice thing is that the Catskills are only an hour away!  The good news of the week was that we finished cleaning out the storage trailer and it was picked up while we were at the Catskills.  Next, the dumpster...

I did have time to do some crafting this past weekend.  I finished getting the fish collage ready to quilt.  I added seashells and rearranged the fish.  I'm really happy with this arrangement...

I also made another fairly large collage to use for a book cover.  For this collage, I hand stitched (not exactly tidily) the pieces to a foundation...

I also used several pieces of scraps to create a small collaged piece.
This piece will be covered with tulle and quilted by machine.

That's all for now, I have lots on today's to-do list including a couple of zoom meetings.  I hope all of you have an amazing day...

Talk with you tomorrow...
