We could get up to four more inches of rain. At that point I am sure some of the streams will be out of their banks. Some are almost at that point now.
I guess I will have to try and get the containers set up between showers. That's what I did this past weekend. The lawn did get mowed and I managed to transplant the flowers into the large containers.
The hostas lining the sidewalk have grown so big that they have covered several of the solar lights. I need to move them so they can be charged during the day. I also reorganized and decorated the deck with flowers and the outside rug I had on when I lived and traveled in Duchess. It will be a nice to sit out and drink my morning coffee.
Between working outside and the two zoom events, I worked on another junk journal. I'm focusing on 'dreaming' with this junk journal. Check out these two page spreads...
I love the Ralph Waldo Emerson quote!
Today when I can't work outside (if I can work outside...it's raining right now...remember those April showers that come in May?) I will be quilting the two large collages...one with the houses and one with the fish. I hope to finish quilting (by sewing machine) both today and then add the binding.
I will also continue to work on another 'Happy Villages' quilt and maybe get a start on a new desert scene quilt...at least get the design done.
Hope you have a great day...
Talk with you tomorrow...
