It actually did rain all day yesterday but not a heavy rain. It hasn't begun yet today but once it starts, it will be raining for hours and hours.I went out to see if I could do some work on the containers and the yard is spongy which eliminates backing SnowWhite onto the yard. The reason I want to move the truck close to the containers is because the dirt is in the bed of the truck.
And rain is now in the forecast through Saturday. It may be next week before I can finish setting up the containers.
I did walk around in the misty rain yesterday taking pictures in the yard. The flowers are looking well watered but could use a bit of sunlight. So can the solar lights. I have them set on high and with cloudy weather, they don't last all night long. And I'm not sure if we will see the sun before Sunday!!!
Here's a few pictures from the yard...
I underestimated how long it would take to quilt the projects yesterday. Part of the problem was trying to get the metallic thread to work...it didn't! I had to change from metallic thread to regular thread. I wound up using black thread but I am almost done with the collaged houses. I want to use invisible thread for the fish collage but if that doesn't work I will probably use a light blue thread.
Well, that's it for today...by the way, how is your daily movement going? I hope you are at least doing some intentional walking. Remember, as you age, it's easy to lose it if you don't use it!
Talk with you tomorrow...
