It was 32 when I got up this morning at 5am.  So we have had our first light frost.  It's not much warmer now and it's only going to the high 50's to low 60's this afternoon.

I am going to Vermont today.  We got the car back yesterday so I have my truck.

I was looking at the museum website and they allow no flash pictures taken throughout the museum.  There was a time when no one could take pictures of either the quilt or in the Grandma Moses collection.

I was able to finish off a few quilt landscapes yesterday.  They still need some pressing to lay flat but I thought I would share at least one picture..

I also had fun making pockets out of windowed envelopes.  I cut the envelopes so I got two pockets out of each.  The first has a corner tuck (top picture) and a flip pocket (bottom picture) with a decorated 'window'...

The second envelope has two pockets, the top picture is a regular pocket and to bottom picture (with the decorated window) is a side pocket...

I really enjoyed my time in the studio.  But now I need to get ready to leave for Vermont.

There's a new challenge posted on the side bar and the weekend is the perfect time to try it.

Have a great day and a relaxing weekend.  Talk with you on Monday...
