I could post more pictures of snow because we still have a great deal of it but right now I prefer to think about the flowers of spring and summer!

Looks like we may get a bit more snow - between one to three inches - but it's the cold this weekend that folks are concerned about.  As I said before, it will be nice to be inside with the wood burning stove fired up.

Are you going to enjoy the Super Bowl this Sunday?  Which team are you going to cheer for?  It's the last football game of the season...I'm just hoping for a good game.  And, of course, the controversy over the half time show is kind of absurd - Bad Bunny just won the 'Album of the Year' at the Grammys!  I looking forward to watching the show.

So, the cats have been getting wet somehow and I finally discovered where last night.  I have this big three segment window in the studio with lots of room for a cat nap box and lots of knick knacks on the window seat area.

Well, when the Cookie Monster (who by the way is a SnowShoe Cat and loves to go outside in the snow) came to bed wet, I got up to find out where he was getting into water and found that water was leaking in on the window seat area.  This is something that will have to be taken care in the summer.

I had to take everything out and put the soaking wet things in the bathtub to dry out.  I dried off the knick knacks and put them in a container.  To even get to the window, I had to move the tables including all the stuff underneath and on top of them.  Needless to say, my studio is a mess.  But the mystery is solved!

I did work on the 'Slow Making Journal' yesterday.  I put fabric pockets on the inside of the cover.  Check this out...

I also made dinner...mashed potatoes, salisbury steak which I made into balls instead of patties, gravy with mushrooms, onions, bacon, and sour cream in a white sauce and green peas for a vegetable.  And I baked the last of the Christmas refrigerator cookies.  There's enough for leftovers today!

Folks that are in the deep freeze area this weekend, please stay inside where it's warm and safe.  Enjoy some you-time as well as family-time.  And don't forget the reading challenge...get lost in a good book...

Talk with you on Monday...
