So, it's still leaking, not quite as bad, but we found that the reason for the leak may be frozen gutters. It's warm enough for the ice to at least partially melt so I will watch and see what happens.
Hopefully I will be able to clean up the studio...actually it's clean, just messed up due to having to move so many tables and projects.
The snow is melting fairly fast and with temperatures above freezing during the day for the next ten days (some as high as 48) I think I may be saying goodbye to the snow for the time being. However, they are talking about a storm later on this week even with the temperatures above freezing!
As roses dominate (along with hearts!) the season, I thought I would share a fabric one that's easy and fast to make. All you need is some fabric (not too much), needle and thread, a button or sequin and bead and scissors. First cut out ten round pieces the size that you want...
Fold the circles in half but do not iron them...
For each circle, hand stitch around the curved edges and pull tight to gather and secure...
Using five of the circles that were hand stitched and pulled tight, stitch together on the raw edges and pull tight into a circle and secure...
Repeat with the remainder circles. Place the finished circles on top of each other and secure. Add a button or sequin and bed in the center to finish...
