It's already 35 degrees going to a high in the mid 40's. No rain (or snow!) but it's really cloudy out so no sunshine. However, the snow is still melting fast and there are more and more spots in the yard without snow. The next five days will include temperatures in the 50's, 60's and 70's! Wonder if that will be the end of the snow! Course those 70's are quite high for March.
I did work more on my Fabric Stitch Book. I went back and finished the first page. I added one more round of black embroidery. It does need a good press, though...
Then I finished the second page which needed quite a bit more stitching plus the two embellishments...
I need to do more on the current third page but I did add two embellishments but no more stitching yet...
I finished one of last month's intentions...getting the oil changed and a new annual inspection sticker for SnowWhite. I am almost done with the decorations. As I forgot to pick up another plastic container when out yesterday, I am going to take out the spring/summer decorations and put them up. Then I will use that box for the Christmas decorations so I can finish them up today. That will leave filing my taxes which will probably take all of five minutes! Don't know why I am procrastinating...I don't owe any taxes!
How did you do with last month's intentions if you had any? Are you using a few days in this month to finish them up which is perfectly fine. Remember, they were intentions towards something, not goals to finish or not finish by a certain time.
Today I am going to clean the main floor and put out the spring/summer decorations, make dinner (baked chicken leg quarters and a variety of roasted vegetables), finish up the Christmas decorations and water all the plants. I've already done my exercises so that's out of the way.
By the way, how are you doing with this month's challenge...you know, movement for 15 minutes as in walking or dancing or running, etc? I realize that the older I get, the more I need to maintain movement. That's why I aim for 60 minutes six days a week!
Any plans for the weekend? It's suppose to rain both days so I am sure that my plans will mostly include indoor activities. I know I will be doing two things: First I will be watching the very last episode of 'Stranger Things'. I got hooked on that series a few years ago and it has been quite a while before they finished up the series. And, second I will be crafting! Hope you have great plans for an enjoyable weekend.
Talk with you on Monday...
