Well, it really was windy yesterday.  As a matter of fact, we were under a tornado watch most of the afternoon!

Today it looks bright and sunny again with cool temperatures and much less wind.

I did deadhead the rose bushes and saved the petals.  I also picked up more dirt and a couple more flowers to plant around the yard.

Today I will spend most of the outdoor time in the greenhouse starting seeds and repotting some plants.

I had a couple zoom meetings so didn't get quite as much done as I had hoped!  But I did get strips of paper pieces made.  I used masking tape and paper scraps.  Unfortunately the sewing machine wasn't cooperating when I sewed the strips to make sure the paper was secured to the tape.  But I was able to sew enough to make sure it would hold together...

I also spent time creating a file system for all the ephemera I have been making.  I had an unused fabric covered box and lots of orange cardstock.  I folded the card stock leaving enough room to add labels...

Our new cat seems to have lost it's shyness.  Last night I was either a plaything, rescuer and petting machine for Kenya.  Got very little sleep!  Here's a picture of Kenya looking out the window...she's a long kitty...

We're going to introduce Kenja to Cookie Monster today...wish us luck.

That's it for now...have a wonderful day...talk with you tomorrow...
