You know, Iowa really is a beautiful state. Gently rolling hills. Farms dotting the countryside. Crops...lots and lots of crops and very little cattle. And the crops look healthy, green and mature. When I got to Illinois, it seemed like there were less farms but still lots of crops. And again, they all looked good. The hills flattened out a bit and the road deteriorated quite a bit...thus the need for roadwork which did slow me down quite a bit.
I got to the campsite later than I wanted, but it was still light. So I walked around with my camera taking a few pictures.
Of course, the first picture is at the last campsite with my car and trailer ready to go...
Hmmm....guess there won't be any pictures tonight...I've cleaned the kitty litter, taken out the garbage, started supper, looked for some resemblance of news (no luck) and the first picture has yet to load more than a third.
Darn! I have some neat pictures. I'll try tomorrow at the next place.
