WOW!!! AND PAPERDOLLS

Ever have one of those rough days that kind of knocks you for a loop.   Well, that was my day today.   I know we all have them, but life goes on and we all do the best we can with what's been dished out.

On a more positive note, I have begun working on my paper doll swap.   And let me tell you, these paper dolls are not your child's paper dolls...much more detailed.

What I have done so far on the dolls:
     1.  Created a doll pattern
     2.  Cut four dolls out of cardboard
     3.  Applied two coats of gesso
     4.  Applied two coats of white paint
     5.  Created their clothing using fabric and glue...yes I glued on the clothes!
     6.  Here they are so far...

There is much more to be done.   Hair, faces, masks and the rest of the costumes.   I imagined these to be dressed for Mardi Gras Balls complete with masks, flowing capes, jewelry, etc., etc., etc.   I hope to finish these this weekend...along with about a million other swaps I am involved with...

I leave you with this beautiful picture of clouds...

Have a great weekend, everyone...
And thanks for stopping by...
See you on Monday...
