THRIFT SHOPPING IN PARK CITY

I thought it would be interesting to see what a thrift shop in Park City, Utah looked like.   And, I was not disappointed. I only visited one shop.   This one was sponsored by some of the area churches. This was not a consignment shop...it was truly a thrift shop.

The upstairs section had the better quality merchandise but not very expensive...

The shop was not crammed full but had a variety of things, cleaned and nicely displayed...

There was jewelry...

And shoes (Remember these?   I used to wear 3 1/2 inch heels with pointy toes.   Oh, my aching feet!)...

And belts and clothes...

And handbags...

Now, I have been looking for a new one with shoulder strap and I found the perfect one.   A Liz Claibourne leather purse in perfect condition for only $10.   (By the way, this was one of the most expensive things in the store!)
...and yes, it's red!

The downstairs area was a bit less expensive and had things like small appliances and dishes as well as knick-knacks, books, blankets, baby things...a big variety but not too much of anything...

Well, that's all the traveling.   It was cut short by a toothache.   Guess where I will be visiting tomorrow morning...not my favorite activity...

ZENTANGLE CHALLENGE:  DAY ELEVEN
I am getting a better handle on shading, but I'm a long way from good in this area...

I leave you with this photo.   I guess spring has begun in Park City...

Wish me luck tomorrow morning...
Thanks for dropping by...
See you tomorrow...
