IT'S THE FIFTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS, DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR DREAMS ARE?

So how are things going for you today?   Restoring order after the Christmas Celebration, back to work, gearing up for the New Year's Celebration, or taking this week between Christmas and New Years as a time to rest and reflect about the upcoming year?

If you have a choice, I would hope that the last option is the one you can concentrate on the most. Even if you can't spend a lot of time resting and reflecting about next year, try to give some time to that effort.

Consider your hopes and dreams...things you want to accomplish.   Habits you want to begin (or break).   Goals you would like to achieve.   Changes you want to make in your life.

Although time (and our calendar ) is only a way to account for our experiences between one sunrise and the next, the thought of turning over a new leaf, of beginning anew, of a clean slate, a fresh start is very appealing. So why not go with the flow and think about all those new adventures you want to experience in the coming year.

And let's dream big!  Oh, I don't really mean things like making a million dollars or winning the lottery but if that's what you want, go for it.   What I'm thinking about is something even better.   How about a life fulfilled.   A life that leaves you full of gratitude and grace.  A life with meaning.  One that leaves you smiling both inside and out.

So what would it take for you to feel satisfied with your life?   Sure more money is an attractive option for us, but what other things could you do to achieve that goal.   Less stress?  More time for yourself to recharge?  More/better relationships?  New adventures?  Happiness?  Challenges? Feeling less lonely?

Mull over your thoughts.   Really think about it.   Write down a list of ideas but then consider that list several times.   What really speaks to you?   What says 'not so much'?   Take this week to come up with your list...those things/goals/ideas that are special to you and would help you on your way to a fulfilled and fulfilling life.

We can always make plans with those specific ideas later.   Concentrate this week on what it is you want.  What would make you approach the coming year with excitement and eagerness?   Find it out and let's go for it.   You and me each with our own special list.   Okay?   Okay!

Thanks for visiting...
Talk to you tomorrow...

PS:   I was going out, but my toilet stopped working yesterday so I am here at the apartment waiting for the super to come and fix it.   And yes, I do trust him to come in and do the job on his own...it's the boys I worry about.   They are very protective!!!   And with those sharp claws...well, I thought it better to be here!!!
