SMALL SCRAP FABRIC PRIZE CONTAINER

Wow, I did finish getting all the kits made and instructions reproduced. I even have examples for most of the things. They are boxed up and ready to mail. Mail? You ask?

Well, plans have changed in my life right now and I will be leaving early next week...hopefully Monday. So it was important that I was able to get things done and ready for the next meeting but I need to get everything to the co-chair so she can get things out at the meeting for folks to pick up.

Plans for the Holiday Party include some games with small prizes like thimbles or seam rippers, etc. I didn't want to spend the money for small bags so I took some fabric scraps and made some unusual holders. Check this out...
It's a matter of folding and sewing. If you look at the blue fabric, you can see that I have sewn on two long sides and the two short sides. I tucked the points in for a finished look.  The next picture shows how this can hold things. The 'pockets' go all the way down to the flattened point.
All it took was some scrap fabric, a little folding, a little pinning and a little sewing.  And now I have something cute to give out the prizes in.

I still have a lot to do before retiring for the night. So, this is it for today...
Thanks for visiting...
Talk to you later...
