I actually treated myself yesterday and went out for a Caramel Frap and a box of Cranberry Bliss Bars from Starbucks! I haven't had a Starbucks coffee in months and months. And, of course, the bars are only around during the holidays.
We are not decorating much this year. The tree and a few other things because everything is boxed up. I picked up some decorations from the Dollar Tree store so it does look a bit festive.
The tree will go up this weekend and I may use some of my Christmas fabric to make a tablecloth. My shopping is done except for one person. Everyone has received their boxes, so I am actually ahead of the game. Only a bit of baking left to do but not as much as past years.
I finished all twelve centerpieces so that's also another project that I can check off my list. And this is only the 9th of December. Wow, I am ahead. How about you? Are your plans coming together? I hope so.
The weather was warm and sunny today...no rain. But heck, this is not regular December weather.
So do you have anything lined up for the weekend? Other than the tree and getting some correspondence done, I haven't made any plans. Maybe I'll just rest and watch some football on Sunday. Or, see if there's a festival to go to in the area...or stay home and read. Choices are a nice thing to have especially when there are not deadlines with a long list of things to do.
