The above picture was taken from the exercise room last week after we had a light snowfall. The snow was gone by the end of the weekend...BUT...and it's a big 'but' it looks like we could be in for a major winter storm.
The problem is that I don't know how much snow we will get or if it will all be rain. NYC is a rain event. Twenty miles north of here it is a two foot plus snow event! I had a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning but changed it to the next available date due to the weather.
I guess the only thing I can do is wait and see. The tree trimming trucks were out this morning taking down loose or broken branches because along with the snow/rain, heavy winds are forecast. Should be an interesting few days...
Do you have a lot of 'UFO's' (Unfinished Objects)? I finally finished one that I started forty plus years ago...it may even be fifty years! I embroidered something to go on the buffet. I finished the embroidery but not the rest. This weekend, as I was gathering things for another quilt top of fabric scraps, I ran across the UFO and decided to finish it.
It needs a good pressing but it's done!. Lesson learned? No matter how old your UFO's are, they can still be finished and look nice.
