I went into the house which was very cool and drank a lot of liquids. But, the rest of the day I just rested. And I am not very energetic this morning. Only got about half a mile in on the bike.
Today is going to be just as hot, so I am taking it easy. Finishing setting up the patio can wait until cooler temperatures which are forecasted for next week!
I did work on a journal yesterday. I covered the cover with fabric and sewed three signatures attaching them to the cover. I still need to add the inside cover fabric and then some lace trim which I hope to do today. This one is going to a friend in Minnesota.
I am trying out the Amazon 'Try before you buy' section. I ordered two shoes in hopes that one will fit and feel comfortable. And boy, have shoes gone up in price. What I used to purchase for seventy dollars is now over a hundred. Although I purchase a lot of my clothing from Goodwill, I do purchase new shoes because if the shoes do not fit my entire body is thrown off!
Any plans for the weekend? If the weather is nice (read that cooler that the week!) then I want to work on the patio. If not, well, I want to just take it easy and relax. Hope you have time to do something enjoyable and restful this weekend...
