Sunshine!!!  We have sunshine this morning.  The patio still hasn't dried out...lots of mud...so I didn't have my coffee outside.  BUT...there is sunshine!

We are now at the beginning of October...only three months left in the year!  So how are your goals set last January doing?  Mine are kind of at a standstill.  Not going forward but not going backwards either.  Just there.  I guess I haven't paid as much attention to them as I should.  How about you?  

I am going to see if I can finish up the year really working on them...trying to go forward rather than standing still!  Why not join me and work on your goals so you end the year in better shape than when you began it!

I am going to drive up to Vermont tomorrow to see the 'Dear Jane Quilt' and the Grandma Moses' Paintings.  I went to Albany last Saturday...and yes it rained the entire way up and most of the way back!  One thing I did see was that the leaves have really begun to change.  Here's hoping that the color will be beautiful!

My Vikings actually won a game this weekend.  Of course, the team they played had also not won a game thus far...but a win is a win!

Well, this is what the above turned into...

It's getting there.  I am not satisfied yet.  One thing I don't like are the brown spots.  I like the idea of them but not this way.  I was wondering if they would look better by using embroidery thread and incorporating that rather than layering them on with brown yarn.  I'm going to try it next.  Will share the results later.
