I worked on Christmas boxes last Friday. Today, along with working on at least two boxes in the basement, or lower level, I am going to work on the hall closet where the fall and spring decorations are stored. I think I can get most of the Christmas/Winter decorations there also.
I worked on the charity quilt and have figured out how to add the striped piece inbetween the two sets of square sections. I am going to divide the strips into two sets with the same blue fabric inbetween as I used to separate the square sections. As soon as I have it sewn, I will take a picture and share it here. That will leave finding large pieces of fabric that I can piece together for the back.
I have also taken out some projects that I haven't worked on for several months. First, the house...
This is hand sewn. I want to finish with lots more flowers and a swing hanging from the tree.

I want to finish it and do some quilting, either by nhand or machine and then add a way to hang it.
How was your weekend. Football filled my afternoons an evenings. Happy to see the Lions continuing and sad the the Bills had to call it quits.
I also took some time to think about my inner life, as I asked you to do. I don't know about you but lots more questions arose but with very few answers. Questions about many of my past beliefs, how they came to be and how they need exploration as to whether they fit who I am now. It was a bit unsettling at first blush, but then I realized that it will be very enlightening as I discover who I am now...and a lot of fun. Hope the same is true for you.
