It wound up raining all day once the rain began.  It was a light but persistent rain which is the best as it is able to soak into the ground.  The rain continued last night and into today.  Although, it is supposed to turn into snow for a couple hours this afternoon and then back to rain late afternoon.

It is quite dark and cloudy out, the street lights are still on.  The temperatures are becoming more fall-like ranging from 42 to 53 degrees.

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is this coming Thursday!  Do you have your plans all set?  We are going to be a small group and low keyed...more of a time to relax, chat, eat and watch football.

Speaking of football, the college football season is winding down.  The Oregon Ducks are still ranked as number one.  They have been my favorite college team for a long time.  And my Vikings are looking good also.  Course, they do have a history of screwing things up.  Fingers crossed!

I did manage to make several writing cards for the journal.  For cards, I use a thin cardboard sandwiched between one decorative side and one plain side with prompts for writing.  Here are the cards/tags front and back sides...

I like to curve the corners because it makes it easier to slip into pockets and tucks.  I also used an ink pad to ink the edges so no white shows.

This weekend I plan on working on both more cards/tags and notebooks for the journal as well as make another signature of pages.  I think I will go with three signatures each with three pages.

So what are your fun plans for this weekend?  Getting out and enjoy fall hopefully, that is if the weather cooperates.  It's also a good time to make those last minute plans for Thanksgiving like the menu and any table decorations.  Take some time to relax as the coming week will be busy.

That's all for this week...
Talk with you Monday...
