'Those April showers that come in May' are here in March! Wonder what that means for the rest of the summer...wet or dry?
Speaking of summer, I think that this summer's garden will contain four galvanized metal garden containers four feet long, two feet wide and two feet high. These will be in the side yard surrounded by fencing. There is a small garden plot next to the house that we can use for ground plants like cucumbers and winter squash. The rest will be in the containers.
I had looked at larger containers but the longer the container the less sturdy it appears to be so using the smaller ones seems a better choice. And if we like them, we can always move the fence and add more.
Yesterday, I did manage all the errands including the post office, the bank, Goodwill (dropping off all the donations) and the grocery store.
I also watched an excellent video on fabric collage yesterday as well as a video on making tags...so both '100 Day' challenges were met. Better yet I even made a notebook tag. I used a cardboard mailer for the the tags...I cut out a tag shape and covered both the front and back of each. Notice that one tag is longer than the other...
Next I cut out several sheets of plain paper a bit smaller than the shorter tag piece, stapled them together in the middle of the top area, covered with a small piece of paper, clipped the corners to fit and glued it at the top to the smaller tag...I added the longer tag piece to the top, bending over the top area to the back using tacky glue to hold...I made a pocket to go with the tag and decorated them both with other scraps of decorative paper...The tag fits nicely in the pocket ready to be placed in a journal...

For my gratitude challenge, I added Spring just because. Fall has always been a time to gather in and spring a time to open up and spread out using the yard for gardening, relaxing, drinking a cup of coffee, walking, eating and having a barbecue...
Today I hope to finish the kitchen organization. Things I ordered for that arrived yesterday so it's just a matter of moving things around. Everything is already clean so no washing. I'm also making supper, this time I think it will be a meatloaf...something simple and easy to do.
If you haven't done it already...even if you have, do it again...contact your representatives about the political situation and let them know how you feel. You can call, email or even send snail mail.
Have an amazing first day of spring...
Talk with you tomorrow...
