I've been busy with guild work...creating a new website for them and as well as becoming the editor of their newsletter. As a result, I haven't had much time to work in the studio on my projects. I have been listening to some audiobooks in the background.
I had forgotten how good Carolyn Hart's Death on Demand series book The Christie Caper was. I actually forgot that there were twenty-seven books in that series. The series is set in South Carolina's Island of Broward's Rock and I remember that the weather figures into several of the murder plots.
I've also been listening (although it's streaming on Acorn) to The Brokenwood Mysteries. It's basically a very quirky New Zealand mystery series with a county music loving DI and a very weird medical examiner.
I have gotten back to my exercise routine and that's good but I haven't really gotten any studio work time. I did rearrange my studio though. I needed a bit more space and purchased another folding table, a 3' by 6' one. I had one 2' by 4' table and two what I thought were 3' by 6'. They weren't. They were 2 1/2' by 5' tables. Was I surprised when I got home with the table.
It worked out though...very nicely. Not in the way I had planned but even better. I know have three very distinct working areas. One for fabric projects like my collage fish, one for my junk journal projects and a specific area for my computer work. And with the new office chair I purchased last spring, I can easily wheel from one area to another.
Take care...
