Good morning!  I hope all of you have recovered from the Fourth of July weekend...and I hope all of you enjoyed some family/friend time as well as some time to relax.

We did have family over for a barbecue but our weekend was spent doing something unexpected!

On the way home from fishing, my son spotted something in the middle of the road and was able to stop just in time.   He did ask someone in the area if they knew anyone to whom this little one belonged and they did not.  So he brought it home and we wound up spending most of our time taking care of this little one...

Our two cats are not especially excited about the addition but we hope they will come around.  But, it's like having a baby...feedings in the middle of the night and lots of cuddles.  Did you know that you need to 'burp' a kitten if fed by hand?  I didn't!  No name yet...still working on that.

I did manage to get some more work done on the fish collage...still a lot to do but I have the beginnings of the tail started...

And now I need to get back to working on the newsletter and website for the Manhattan Quilt Guild.  I put those things aside this past weekend.  They will be front and center, though, this week...along with the little, fuzzy thing that entered our lives unexpectedly.

Have a great day...and get back to exercising if you took a break this weekend...talk with you tomorrow...
