I have a good reason for posting late today...I had to go down and pick up SnowWhite from the mechanic...she's good to go. She has some rust on her under body but her frame is solid and rust free.  Everything else is good also.  That should be it for at least six months or so.

On the way back I did stop at a few places.  First stop was the bookstore where I picked up several magazines.  I did stop in at Michaels but didn't purchase anything.  Then a nursery where I picked up two more tomato plants and a couple more herbs plus six flowers to plant in the large circular garden and one large pot of caladiums.

The humidity and temperatures are forecast to be low so I hope to plant them all tomorrow.  Right now it's 90 degrees with high humidity...really uncomfortable!

I didn't have an opportunity to work on the collage fish but I did get more blue fabric backed with adhesive...

There's plenty of fabric now to finish the collage fish picture plus more.  I am thinking about the next in the collage series but haven't decided whether to stay with fish or try something else like a landscape.

We have a name for the kitten...Cookie Monster. We thought that the kitten was a she so we named her Cookie.  When it turned out that she was a he, we added the Monster!  He stays on the top floor in her run-about when we're gone.  We keep the cats separate from the kitten still...not sure how they will react to her.  Going to keep it up for a few more weeks.

So how are you dealing with this heat and humidity?  I'm not working outdoors at all.  I wilt after a few minutes!  Things are supposed to change tomorrow so I am looking forward to cooler temperatures and lower humidity.  That I can deal with...

And I hope to be able to work in Duchess and get her cleaned out so we can use her for storage.  Since I've been back, I haven't had a chance to work outside (nor would I if I had the opportunity)...hope that changes this weekend.

Stay safe and take care in these hot days...

Talk with you tomorrow...
