I was up and walked this morning early.  It was light but cloudy and overcast.  No rain is forecast, but I wouldn't bet on it not raining.  It was cool and a bit humid but altogether rather nice.

After the walk I got on the stationary bike and did another 20 minutes.

This is what the water looked like down at the community area.  I took it from the pavilion...

Today we are going to a state park and then to an outdoor art gallery which sounds rather unique.

As promised, here are the last of the Gee's Bend's Quilts...

As I have said before, I like the primitive creativity of the quilts...and they are so colorful.  The top quilt doesn't follow any of the rules of light and dark but in person, that quilt just took my breath away it was so awesome.

If you have an opportunity to see a Gee's Bend's Quilt Show, I highly recommend it to you.  Maybe it will free some of you from the 'rules' of quilting and just let your creativity be your guide.

When I was cleaning out Duchess I found a book that I must of picked up sometime but don't remember it.  This is the book...

I began reading it and have found it very interesting.  The first chapter is on childhood memories, likes and dislikes.  Basically, playing like a child.  One activity was to create an 8 page book out of a single piece of paper.  Well, I have made one and am now in the process of decorating it.  I'll share it with you tomorrow...

Have a great day...
Talk with you tomorrow...
