So, last night's game was a tale of two halves basically. The Vikings looked terrible in the first half and very good in the second half. And, they won. It seemed like the Bears could do no wrong in the first half...and wondered what the heck happened in the second half!
I've been listening to a cosy mystery about a talking cat...Conrad the Calico Cat. The author is L.T.Shearer and there are four books in the series so far. The first book is titled 'The Cat Who Caught A Killer'.
I'm still working on how many ways to use a pencil but I am nowhere near 100. I now think I need to reach into outer space for ideas. Either that or my creative juices are not working! Have you tried to list 100 uses for an item? If so, how are you doing? I hope better than me!
So yesterday I managed to clean the house to get ready for the Season of Orange which I hope to finish today. I even took the kitten's tent outside and washed it. Can't wait until the next kitten test is done. I hope that we will no longer have to keep the litters separate.
I also finished all the printing for the upcoming guild meeting. I can only print at night when the kitten is asleep because he constantly wants to 'play' with the printer and screw it up. I only have a few more drawstring backsack kits to finish up...and I am done. All I have to do is pack things up in a suitcase and bring them on Saturday! Even the website is finished!
Thursday the folks are coming to get rid of the yellow jacket nest. That means that everyone including the cats have to be out of the house for two hours. The problem is that my truck is being used to commute to work so I can't put the cats in and take them for a drive! The only alternative is to stay in Duchess which quite frankly is full of storage boxes. Going to be an interesting situation.
I hope that if not on Friday, next Monday, I will be able to spend a long time on my creative ventures. I have been trying to finish quilting the winter scene. It's still sitting in the sewing machine ready to go. My problem is that I really can't sew with the kitten around. He is so curious that he wants to paw under the needle...not a good thing!
There's a new challenge suggestion posted on the sidebar. It's about making time to read. I love to read but I also listen to audio books. It's a great habit to develop.
Have a wonder-filled day...
Talk with you tomorrow...
