It's bright and sunny out, 60 degrees at 8:15am going to a high of 77 today. No rain for a couple days.
I did notice yesterday that the leaves are beginning to change...not bright colors but the green is a bit faded.
I was up early (5:00am) made and had a cup of coffee, did 30 minutes of exercise (30 minutes left), took care of the cats (fed and cleaned litter), cleaned bedroom and dressed. Pretty good for someone who has been staying in bed til a few hours later.
So there is a new word for the month...Transition. And that is what I feel September is...a time to transition from one season to another. And there is a challenge for the month.
I don't know about you, but even though my kids kids have kids...did you get that?...I still feel like September is the time to get back to 'reality' as the commercial says. All summer long I am less organized, have a looser routine, and generally am, I won't say less productive, just differently productive. Isn't fishing a good use of time?
So the challenge for September is transitioning back to what you feel is a better routine for yourself. This challenge has 20 weekdays of questions or suggestions to assist you with where you want to go. It's totally up to you as to how you fulfill them.
For instance, if I said it's time to get back to a better morning routine for yourself, you decide on that routine. It may be as simple as enjoying a cup of coffee or as complex as listing all the things to do for your morning routine. Mine routine would probably include making coffee, taking care of the cats, exercise routines, etc.
The daily ideas will appear in the side panel, one each weekday beginning on Wednesday (September 3rd) and will continue throughout September (weekdays only). I hope these ideas will at least help you to think about you and your routine and how it fits your life.
Well, that's it for today. Hope you are doing okay and enjoying your life's journey.
Talk to you tomorrow...come hell or high water...:)
