We are losing light as summer leaves and fall moves in.  But it is still quite hot in the middle of the day.  I worked outside yesterday.  The sun was bright and hot and I actually worked up a sweat.  

Apparently, summer is not letting go easily...wonder if that has anything to do with global warming?  

I think I told you that the folks who came out to take care of our yellow jacket problem said there have been more yellow jacket situations than he has ever experienced.  The service man who worked on our furnace yesterday said that this year he has had to not service a couple places because hundreds of yellow jackets were in the area and that's a first for him.  On the other side of the country, the house in Park City had an infestation of insects and the folks who took care of it said that this has been the worse year they have ever experienced with the insects.  Does make one wonder...

Today I think I am going to rest.  There are things I need to do around the house both inside and outside but instead, I am giving myself permission to just be and do what I want.  Make that work on some craft creations.  

I want to enter something new in the online quilt show so that's what I am going to work on...
