We have finally been able to identify the tall bush at the corner of the stairs to the main entrance.  It's a Nippon Daisy.  We do not remember the flowers last year.

Because we did not know what the plant was, we did not prune it.  Next spring, the suggested pruning is to cut it about 6 inches high.  Right now it's about three and a half feet high.  And because it grows so tall, we will need to put a fence around it to keep it from falling over.

I added two pumpkin pails to the front porch each weighted down with rocks to keep from blowing away...

I'm down to the last 'dregs' of the studio.  You know, those assortment of things that you don't dare to throw out but don't know what to do with!  They always take longer than planned for that simple reason...what do I do with them!  But once I have found a home for them, then the studio is done and ready for creativity.

I do still need to add the electric blanket to my bed, but that can wait a week or so, especially with the warm and wet weather we are experiencing right now.

Today I also want to do a bit of cleaning in the rest of the house...mostly downstairs as the upstairs is done...and finish the laundry.  I made supper last night...home fries, meatballs and salad...so there's leftovers for tonight.

As rain is forecast for the entire weekend, I think it will be one to stay at home.  I'm looking forward to a relaxed creative weekend, working in the studio finishing up the quilting on my winter scene and on the guild newsletter.  The newsletter should not take too much time as I have a template made and just have to drop in the articles and images.

And, of course, the football games on both Saturday and Sunday.  The Viking's game which is early Sunday morning as they are playing an international game.

So what are your weekend plans?  Hopefully something will come up for you to enjoy...

Talk with you on Monday...
