The snow from last weekend's storm has melted a lot and today the temperatures are in the high 30's to 40!  And we were a minus 2 two nights ago.  The swings in temperatures are not really good for anyone or anything.

And then, of course, there's a major snow storm in the forecast for the coming weekend!  I hope more snow and not any ice!

Do you ever just up and decide that you are not going to do something which is a normal part of your day?  Well, this morning I just decided to not do any exercises...something I faithfully do every morning!  Not sure why, I just don't want to...is that a bad thing? Probably not as long as it doesn't become a trend.  Each of us has to decide what's best for ourselves at any moment and if what's best is a dramatic change, so be it.

I have been working on a very particular journal.  I've already posted pictures of the pages...

What I want to do with this journal is emphasize the top current trend in leisure activities...slow activities.

What I am planning is to have six different divisions in the journal, each one centering on one slow activity.  And the activities fall into two categories.  One with paper activities and one with fabric activities. The activities I am including are:  Fabric Category:  Slow stitching in embroidery, Slow stitching in fabric collage and Slow stitching in felt sachet.  Paper Category:  Slow writing in list making, Slow designing in paper collage and Slow playing in doodling.

The way I am setting this up is to have a pocket on one side of the page that contains a card with instructions on the back side.  On the other side there will be an envelope with the supplies for the activity.  Check these out...

This first journal will be a template to see if I need to change things.  If it works out the way I want it to, then I plan on making several to give as gifts to friends.

So far I have all the pages made with pockets, the cards that go into the pockets and the envelopes.  A good start but far from finished.  I'll keep sharing as the journal progresses.

By the way, I hope you are checking out the daily thoughts because I am posting new ones each day...just a little something to think about.  And I hope you are working on your intentions for 2026.  We only have one more week to finish them up.

Have an exciting day...

Talk with you tomorrow...
