No snow.  As a matter of fact the sky is blue with only a few clouds!  It's 27 degrees going to the high 30's today, high 40's tomorrow and 50's on Saturday!

Yesterday was spent taking down the decorations from the main floor.  They are all upstairs in various stages of sorting and organizing.  I also rearranged and cleaned the downstairs.

So today and tomorrow I will finish sorting, organizing and packing up the remainder of the decorations...ready to go out to the trailer for storage until next year!  I should have no problem finishing that intention.

However, today I also need to get the oil changed and an inspection down on SnowWhite.  It's one of the other things I needed to finish in February.  Even though it's cold out, the walkway is clear so I can walk out to the truck without worrying about slipping.

I have worked a bit on the next page of the slow making journal...this one with embroidery but I did not have time to finish it.  Perhaps today or tomorrow.

I read an article on how we can shine a light, so to speak, in our own little piece of the world.  I think if lots of folks followed some very simple ideas, then we could really make a much bigger and better influence on the world.  Some of the ideas include:

1.  Complimenting someone
2.  Smiling at both neighbors and strangers
3.  Doing an act of kindness
4.  Reaching out to someone you haven't done so recently
5.  Really listening when talking with others
6.  Being there for friends suffering loss
7.  Donating something to charity
8.  Volunteering
9.  Helping a neighbor, especially older folks
10.  Support local communities and businesses

You can see that these ideas are not overwhelming.  They are simply small acts that can have big effects.  Why not try a couple today and see how you feel.  If you're like most folks, doing so will give you a lift also.

Stay warm, stay safe and have a wonderful day...
Talk with you tomorrow...
