I finished my exercises even though I really didn't want to do them. Ever feel that way? You feel that you just can't or don't want to do any type of movement...listen to your body. There are days when you probably really should rest. But other times you probably just don't want to take the time to do it. On those days I suggest that you at least start. Most times, once you begin, you wind up finishing. And your body will thank you in the long run. Remember the old adage...'use it or lose it'! It really is true.
Back to a few more ideas to save money at the grocery store. First, shopping with a list will help prevent impulse spending. If you find a great sale on an item that you use or need for your pantry AND if your budget can accommodate the extra cost, then purchase it.
Second plan your menus around the weekly sale items. And take advantage of loss leaders. What are loss leaders? They are items priced below cost to encourage folks to shop at the store. If you can, purchase extra loss leaders for future use.
Remember these...
Tiny crocheted baskets (between one and two inches) with artificial flowers which I hung on a white (painted) tree branch. I'm thinking that I would like to make them into a mobile that I can keep up. They are really cute and I want to see them longer than a couple weeks.
I took a three inch wide strip of cardboard, ends taped together to make a circle and covered with white yarn to make the mobile for the birds I made out of toilet paper rolls...remember them...
I'm thinking of doing the same thing for the flower filled baskets but adding some fabric flowers like these on top of the yarn...
There flowers are easy to make. First cut out circles (the size depends on the size flower you want), fold the circles in half and by hand stitch a running stitch around the larger raw edge as shown using strong thread...
Pull the thread to gather tightly and finish off. Sew five together in a circle, make two, place one on top of the other and secure. Add something in the middle like sequins and beads or buttons attaching with glue gun.
Guess this will be one of the projects for the weekend for me. Do you have any plans for the weekend? Spring flower festivals have begun to pop up so check your area...most are free to attend and it would be a great place to enjoy nature.
Have a wonderful weekend...
Talk with you on Monday...
