Well, spring has decided to cool her jets, so to speak, it's only going to be in the 40's for the next couple of days and slowly warm up to the 50's and maybe a 60 degree day.

It's cloudy out right now and still in the 30's...no rain but it's so damp that it feels a lot colder.  My joints are echoing that idea.

The flower picture is from this year.  Lots and lots of daffodils have flowered.  I'll take a walk around the yard today to see what, if anything else, has popped up.

So, I was scrolling about knee pain and one thing I am trying is to walk up the stairs differently.  I have always put my weight on the front of my foot to go up which put more stress on my knees.  So I am trying to put the weight on the heel of my foot.  I have tried it a couple times and it did seem to be less stressful to my knees.  

It does take more time as I am trying to get used to doing it this way...and our step treads aren't very wide.  Hopefully, I will be more comfortable climbing steps this way as I have to go up and down several times a day.  By the way, I still go down backwards because it is much better for my knees...just have to lean forward a bit so I don't fall backwards.

This weekend was spent on fixing food and then eating it (We have enough leftovers to last the week!) along with enjoying the celebration of spring, spring rains and spring flowers.  As it rained all day Sunday I did watch a few enjoyable movies like Agatha Christie's 'Seven Dials'.  

While watching I sewed together two of the blocks from the block making journal.  The regular nine patch block turned out great, the tulip block not so much.  I was debating if I should take it apart and resew it but I realized that I mistakingly cut down the half-triangle square to the same size as the regular blocks and that resewing it would not help...so I am leaving it.  Afterall perfection is not what I am about at all.  The both need a good pressing...

Do you have any intentions or plans that you want to get done this week.  I don't have any special plans but I would like to get my crocheted basket mobile hung and the Christmas decorations (which are packed) taken out to the storage trailer.  The seeds are popping up.  I have already had to transplant a few of them to larger containers so that intention is going well.
