Literally, there is a mouse in the house....it all began like this....Chip and Dale were acting a bit weird.
For instance, they would sit for hours watching their food dishes. Or they would run in tandem to a specific spot and sit and watch. Or they would try to get to a space which was obviously too small for them.
Yesterday, while I was on the phone to a friend, Dale either constantly climbed up onto the printer (and no - it was not printing) or onto the tower under the desk for which there is no space.
Duh!

I should have guessed that something was up, but no, I didn't...that is until this morning. Chip and Dale were going crazy in the bedroom, jumping from one spot to another. It still did not register with me, so I went over to the last place they were at, moved a box and YIKS!!!!! A mouse, which Dale quickly grabbed. Good kitty!!! But then he let it go!!!!
And after unsuccessfully trying to catch it under a wastebasket, we gave up. We now have the house set up with catch and release mouse traps. I will let you know when we apprehend the little critter.
On a brighter note, we decided to take a little trip to the western part of the state. Although the area was on the lowest scale of the foliage color, we found some beautiful areas.

Seems like only a few days ago when we were finding our spring signs...
Have a great weekend...thanks for stopping by...
