First of all I enjoyed working with some young folks at our local library for Textile Day. We sewed blocks and made a scrap quilt picture.
Then it was on to cleaning because some very good friends of ours were visiting from Minnesota. They had some problems with their flight - interestingly at the same time the plane overshot the Minneapolis Airport - but finally made it here.
We had a great time catching up, sightseeing and shopping.
And now I really have to get serious about Holiday gifts. And to top that off, it looks like I will be making a quilt for a Holiday Fair! How I got myself into this I am not sure....ever happen to you.
And thinking ahead, our next musical will begin rehearsal in January and I will be doing the staging again.....ah, will I never learn.
The colors are beautiful right now although we are beginning to lose the leaves. Here are a few pictures I snapped while sightseeing with friends. The red bushes were brilliant.
