Forgotten Treasures

When I was preparing for Textile Day (Yesterday's Blog), I thought I would bring some old projects so that the children could try their hand at quilting.

Well, I looked in my UFO box - don't we all have at least one of these boxes - and found some tops still in need of quilting. And I thought they were still nice for wall hangings.   So I am going to finish all three of them and when I am done I will post complete pictures.   But I thought I would share pictures of parts of the wall hangings.

The two pictures below are of a really vibrant wall hanging with lots of purples and reds and yellows....

 

These next two pictures are of the first top I did with unfinished edges.   I really enjoyed that process...

 

 And these final two are of the piece that I finally decided to bring with me to Textile Day.   Although the children did not try any quilting, I did and have finished it...now all I need to do is finish the edge...

I was thinking that two of them might be nice for Holiday Presents.  Maybe you could help me decide when I have finished them.
