I hope everyone took a few minutes out of this weekend to consider what Memorial Day was all about and give thanks for all who serve this country.
On Saturday, I went to a quaint Swedish Festival in Ephraim. The weather was beautiful. The food was wonderful. The musical groups were great. The craft persons, especially at the Ephraim Co-op, were exceptional. And best of all there was a quilt show held by the Horseshoe Mountain Guild.
Unfortunately, this is what greeted us Saturday night...
All the plants were full of wet, sticky snow. After bringing them in and cleaning them off, I discovered that they were no worse for the wear.
This is what greeted us on Sunday morning...
See any mountains? Neither did I!!!
When I woke up this morning and opened the curtains...I simply closed them again and went back to bed. Yep, snow!!!
I hope you are having a great Memorial Day...even if you have snow...
