INCHIE CHALLENGE 23 and SOME WILDLIFE

Today was a visit to Maine's Wildlife Park.   This park was established to keep the animals who can't be released into the wild.   It is also a great learning venue.   Lots of walking on well-groomed trails with some beautiful flowers.

The entry area had a great statue of a bear carved out of a tree...

And, of course some flowers...

There were several animals including an owl...

Lots of chipmunks...

And moose.   There were taken through a fence so there is some distortion.   The female is walking around but the male is resting...

I'll share more pictures later, but now it's time for today's challenge inchie...'Potted Plant'...
The purple background is actually from a tissue box.   The edges are finished with black paper tape.   I cut the 'flower pot' out of an orange designed paper, cardstock weight, and used a brown marker to outline.   I glued it to a thin piece of styrofoam and glued that to the base.

The leaves are cut from several different cardstock weight designed paper.   To secure, I just filled the area behind the 'flower pot' with thick tacky glue and stuck the leaves in.

That's all.   Easy as can be.   I know you want to, so why not try your hand at making an inchie this weekend!!

Football again tonight.   Yes, I know that not all the games are great, but it is football.
Thanks for stopping by...
See you tomorrow...
