Yes, siree...another week closer to leaving. Another week closer to being done sorting and packing. Another week closer to vacation time...at least it will feel that way.
So, I asked you what you thought I would be doing today after playing hookey from sorting and packing? Answer: Sorting and packing. The large bedroom is done. The common room is almost done.
I've straightened up the living room so I can get around. That's where I am stashing all the packed boxes. I found out that my five shelves can hold 50 boxes. Each shelf can hold two of the book boxes which is what I am mostly using so I'm feeling better about the size of my storage unit - small.
I had hoped to straighten up the studio/office but that will have to wait until tomorrow. But the good news is that I am only up to 46 boxes. Let's see - 46 boxes, 250 boxes - no contest! I'll take 46 any day. I predict that I will definitely be under 250 boxes, even under 150 boxes and at this point well under 100 boxes.
One of the things I need to do this weekend is get ready for my trip to NYC. I hope to hand off Christmas packages to two of the families so I need to finish a couple small things and wrap the presents.
My car is once again full for another run to Goodwill so I'll need to get that done also because it will be full of stuff to bring down to the folks in NYC.
