I Played Hookey Today...

I really did.   I played hookey today.   I just could not sort or pack another item...so I didn't!   I may live to regret that...but not really...I can always leave later.

So what did I do?   I relaxed this morning, read a bit, watched some videos a bit and took my time getting ready for the day.

Then I spent a couple hours with those same creative ladies I told you about last week.   And, there was a special presentation at the meeting by a professional fabric artist who specialized in tatting. 

I have always wanted to tat with a shuttle and have never been able to do it.   I can tat with a needle and after watching the demonstration, I know why it is difficult for me to shuttle tat.   So I will keep on tatting with a needle.

After that, I stopped in to make the final arrangements for my storage unit.   And then I went shopping to pick up the last couple of things I needed to finish the Christmas presents I am making.

So, I guess hookey isn't really the right word because I did accomplish several things...just not sorting or packing.
