Today was a bright, sunny and cool day. When I was out running errands, I had to stop and take some pictures of the ocean. The water sparkled like a brilliant, blue jewel. As I said, I will miss this...
Well, I had hoped to finish sorting and packing the large bedroom today It's about 90% done. And I have really cut down on the boxes. Today, for instance, I consolidated four boxes into one (12" cube) It was a bit sad because this box contains things of my husband that I thought our four children would appreciate having down the road. Lots of memories.
He was great at taking and displaying pictures. And because of that, I spent two hours taking pictures out of picture frames...get the picture??? :)
At any rate, I will finish tomorrow. And then I will tackle the common room upstairs. Actually, I emptied the one closet in that room today. And guess what I found? The first three boxes that I packed (already counted). I forgot that's where I stashed them when my friends were visiting. The majority of the boxes were empty (Yeah!!!). Only two boxes had stuff in them - more pictures!
So I should be able to finish both rooms without any problem this week. That means that basically, the upstairs is done. The rest of the stuff upstairs like clothes, etc. will be going in the trailer. Wow! I might make it after all...
I also brought up one box from the basement to go through - electronics. And I have finished that one already. Lots for Goodwill. That leaves three more boxes to be sorted from the basement. The rest are all done including Christmas. So it will just be a matter of bringing them up.
I know, I know...I seem to be only posting about my sorting and packing. Less than a month before I leave (hopefully) And then I'll be able to share pictures of my travel and crafting adventures once again.
