So, today all the boxes that I have packed are either in the storage unit already or in my car ready to be delivered tomorrow!!! Wow! When I pack, I number the boxes and indicate contents on a spread sheet. I literally had 257 boxes when I moved in along with other none numbered things like full suitcases, etc. I am still at 59 boxes! There will be more boxes but not 202 more!
I finally arranged to have the furniture moved next Thursday. At the rate I am going, there won't be that much to move. I plan on moving shelves on Saturday. That will help greatly in saving space in the storage unit because I can put 40 boxes on my shelves without using the tops which is where I plan to put my plastic carts so they are out of the way and won't get damaged.
If I can get most things out of the house next Thursday, that will give me time to clean, wash clothes and put the finishing touches on my trailer before I leave.
Tomorrow, besides taking stuff to storage, I want to begin packing the kitchen things as well as bring up the boxes from the basement. These include Christmas decorations and tools. When I moved in, I had 23 boxes of Christmas decorations - and they were not small boxes. I have pared that down considerable. Not sure how many, but they take up less than a quarter of the original space. I'll let you know how many tomorrow.
