My neighbors are beginning to decorate in earnest both inside and outside. In a way, I am a little sad at not decorating, but I have definitely decided to decorate a bit in my trailer.
Well, this is what it looks like in the storage unit with all the packed boxes scattered...
And this is what it looks like with some of the shelves moved in...
All the packed boxes are in the unit as well as three of the six shelves. Two more large shelves will go in tomorrow so all the boxes will be off the floor. (I can only get two large shelves in the car at one time.) I am feeling better about getting everything in the unit.
Well, I didn't follow the football game last night. Instead I watched the new production of 'The Sound of Music'. And I wasn't disappointed. I really enjoyed watching the musical. Hope you all had an opportunity to see it.
So, this weekend is going to be busy. I want to finish all the presents, wrap them and get them in the mail. I need to finish backing one quilt throw and decorate one house. Then it's just wrapping and boxing up.
I want to pack most of the kitchen and tackle all the little odds and ends in the studio/office. I will be taking one load to the storage unit on Saturday morning and another large load to Goodwill on Sunday. That will probably be the last load to Goodwill. I think that makes 24!
I have also been working in the trailer. I have decided to edit some of the stuff I have in it. For instance, I am trying to scan pictures onto my computer. I have thousands of pictures - my husband loved to take photographs. Instead of taking them all, I am only taking one large box.
Crafts are mostly going, but I may not take all of the fiction books I have. The clothes are all in with the exception of what I am wearing and there is plenty of room.
I figure that I will have Monday-Wednesday to make sure that everything is ready to move on Thursday. If I'm not finished, I will make sure that anything left is something that I can take...like the vacuum which I will need for a good cleaning.
That will leave me Friday and Saturday to get things done and if I need another day, I'll leave on Monday.
