Now, I know that this isn't very much snow. It's the quarter inch of ice that's underneath. I walked out this morning to load the car only to fine a thick sheet of ice on my porch, steps, sidewalk and road. And me without de-icer. So, I did the old time trick of using hot water to melt the ice. It took a while but I finally got a path cleared to the car.
And then I loaded the car. I actually took the last shelf, several boxes and some odd small pieces of furniture.
I wanted to get the Christmas packages mailed today but by the time I got back home to pick them up the road and visibility was so bad that I decided to try tomorrow. Oh, and while out my low tire pressure indicator came on...(sigh)...which meant a stop at a local auto shop to have them checked. They're okay, just a bit low probably due to weather more than anything else.
I know that I am getting to the end of packing, but really, the place looks so messy it's driving me crazy. Everywhere I look, it seems like there is a mountain of stuff to take care of...(another deep sigh)...
Well, it's back to sorting and packing...and maybe some straightening up...
Thanks for visiting...
See you tomorrow...
