Thursday...No, It's Friday!!! Where Did Thursday Go?

Okay, it's sleeting in Mobile...did you hear that (or rather, read that)?   Sleeting.  In.  Mobile!   This is Alabama...the Gulf Coast of Alabama!   And it's going to freeze, snow, rain and sleet tonight!   Maybe I should have gone further south?  :)

So, do you know what tomorrow is?   Yes, it's January 25th, I know...but do you know what else is happening tomorrow?   It's WWSketchCrawl42.   What's that, you ask?   Well, it's a World Wide Sketching Marathon.   The history is interesting.   Google it and you'll find out how this began.  

Now it's on the internet so you can see sketches from all around the world.   In Mobile it's happening at the Mobile History Museum from 10am to 2pm.   You go and sketch whatever you want and then it's scanned and uploaded to the internet.   A bit scary...I mean, can I sketch something that I would want someone else to see?

Think a doodle would do?

Or a water color?

(Oh, I forgot, no paints...)

Guess it will be colored pencils...

Wish me luck...hope it's not snowing, raining or sleeting because if it is, I'll stay right here in my comfy clothes and keep warm.   Did I tell you how the cold down here seeps right into you bones?
