The cats...they decided to stay in
today. Dale was not happy with me when I took this picture...
Chip didn't even bother to look up...
So, I decided I needed a bit of
prompting to get back on schedule. Thus, some mini-monthly goals:
- Finish and mail the Ornaments Galore project that I am hosting at Roses On My Table
- Attend at least five Mardi Gras parades
- Visit and take pictures of several more places in the area
- Lose five pounds
- Finish planning blog posts for this month
- Take some special time for myself (sad anniversary)
- Finish reading two books: one fiction and one non-fiction
- Finish three journal pages: One for each group that I participate in
- Re-organize the trailer for traveling: Leaving on the 22nd
- Walk twice a day, knee permitting
Those ten goals don't seem to be too
hard to do to me. What about you? Do you make monthly goals? I
find that it is easy to let time slip by if I don't engage in goal
planning. But I know folks who don't seem to need that extra push to
get things done. Maybe they know something that I don't know!!!
Speaking of goals, I have begun one
journal page. It's not finished by a long shot but here is what I
have so far. It's on thick handmade paper and I used cutouts from a
newspaper and stamping ink. Next step is gesso and paint...
While reading blogs this morning, I was
impressed by an article at the Be More With Less Blog about
busyness. The article is called 'When Breath Meets Busy'. It
might be worth your time to check it out.
That's all today folks. There's a new
monthly thought and a new weekly journal prompt posted. You may want to
check out...
Thanks for stopping in...
See you tomorrow...
