Sunlight and Projects

Guess what I saw today?   Yep, that's right, the sun!!   And although it wasn't exactly warm out, it was nice to see the sun.   The kitties even stretched out and enjoyed it...truth be told, I did have to physically take each one to their outside cat door and shoo them out.   But they chose to stay out for quite a long time.

Last night the rain was so hard that it sounded like the inside of a drum in the trailer...and it was quite windy.   I wound up taking down the windchimes and unplugging the outdoor lights.   It was really too wet and windy roll up the awning but it survived, thank goodness.

I worked on a couple projects today.   Remember this...

Well, this is where I'm at with this journal page now...

I added a light coat of Titanium White Acrylic paint to soften the images.   Next?   Not sure yet.   Stay tuned,,,

I also had fun working with this fabric scrap challenge...

I decided to make a stylized landscape.   So far I have the sky done...

I plan on using greens and browns for land areas and the rest will be used to make houses and barns.   By the way, to hold the pieces in place I used a bit of stick glue on each piece.
