Mobile Moments, Projects and An Article

It's been a bit cool here.   Right now, early afternoon, it's only 38 degrees and the forecast high is only 41 degrees.   Like I said, a bit cool.   Good news is that there is no more ice!!!

MOBILE MOMENTS:
The Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center.   This is a state of the arts convention center located right on the water (1 Water Street).   There are plenty of outdoor patios, a walkway across Water Street and sweeping water views.   It's quite impressive.

LATEST JOURNAL PAGE:
Here's the progression on my page...

Still not finished with the page yet, but it's getting there.   Soft colors...maybe I'm thinking of spring.   I am showing the progression of this journal page in hopes of encouraging you to try lots of different techniques. Remember, there's no right nor wrong way, only your way!  So have fun creating your journal pages.

FABRIC CHALLENGE:
I'm getting closer to finishing the overall design of this piece.   I'm trying to decide whether to add small features with fabric (like doors and windows and animals) or with paint.   What do you think?   I think I will first make up some examples of both ways and see which I want to use.

RECOMMENDED ARTICLE:
I'm finding so many articles to pass on I may make this a continuous feature.   Today's article is at the Be More With Less Blog.   The article is "7 Tiny Steps for the Beginning Minimalist" written by Courtney Carver.   Check it out especially if simplicity is something you want to consider.

Thanks for dropping in today...
See you tomorrow...
