WIND, SNOW, COLD...A GOOD DAY TO SNUGGLE IN AND READ...

Well, you can see that we got the snow...and wind. My bird feeder is flying back and forth. And I am surrounded by buildings so to get this much wind here is something. It doesn't look like much on the fire escape but there's more than 8 inches right now and several more hours of snow are forecast. The wind is worse...it's quite strong, steady in the high twenties to low thirties and gusting to over 50.

A good day to play hooky, but instead I have continued working on sorting my studio stuff. I have sorted through all my project boxes. Some projects are done and others are still in process.  I am waiting for the embroidery bobbins to come before I begin that area. Believe it or not, UPS is out and delivering so they should be here late this afternoon.

Still enjoying leftovers. I added some cheddar cheese to my rice and blackeyed peas. It was a very good addition. Think I will try that again.

Like I said above, it is a good day to snuggle in and read so that's what I am going to do now...a cosy mystery this time - 'Death by Coffee' by Alex Erickson. It could be describing me as much as I have been drinking coffee lately!!

Hope your warm and cozy today...
Enjoyed your company...
See you tomorrow...
