ENDED...

Wishful thinking?  Maybe!  But the weather is so unusual that who knows when the blossoms will bloom.  I saw a dandelion in the yard this week once the rain melted all the snow that was left.  And this is January!!  In New York!!

Well, the President's defense team ended with a whimper rather than a bang.  I was really surprised.  But then they did not rebut the House's facts.  They relied on two lawyers (Starr and Dershowitz) both of whom did a complete 180 degree turn on their previously held positions.

Then, more came out that was included in Bolton's book.  And Kelly came out and supported Bolton over the President.  Will we see witnesses and documents?  Probably not.  But that will hurt the GOP in the long run.

It's kind of sad.  I remember, granted a long time ago, when Eisenhower was President and both parties were in favor of doing what was best for the nation.  Yes, they had alternative ways to get there but, for the most part, you didn't have to worry about the reason.  That's gone.

We are becoming a tribal nation with little in common.  Goodness, each have our own set of facts. But the folks who get their news from the 'fair and balanced' group don't really have facts, they have opinions and fear.   Very sad indeed.

I finished cleaning the house today...and putting out the spring things.  Yes, I am rushing it a bit, but when the temperatures reach the high 60's who knows when it will come.

I haven't quite finished the third fabric postcard but when I do, I will share it with all of you...

That's it for now...
Thanks for dropping by...
Talk with you tomorrow...
