What a difference a day makes...yesterday it was hot - think 70's. Today, well it is not freezing but it is in the high thirties, almost 40. BUT it is raining. Raining not snowing on December 18th!
So the above nativity scene was purchased for the first Christmas that my husband and I celebrated together...that would make it 54 years old. We bought it at a department store in Mobile, Alabama and paid $5.00 for it. I think it was mispriced or the store wanted to sell it because it was time to close on Christmas Eve.
Today's craft is great for everyone, including kids.
Supplies needed are: Paper towel cardboard rolls,
or toilet paper rolls, ruler, pen, scissors, glue and small clips
or paper clips. Optional: Paint and paint brushes,
glitter, sequins, ribbon
Next with a ruler mark one inch intervals...
Cut the cardboard rolls at the marks.
Glue two pieces together first with tacky glue. Use small clips or paper
Now have fun creating designs...
You can add glitter by placing some
glue of the edges and dipping into
You can add sequins, ribbon or anything
else you want to decorate. You can even
stack two deep. Add a loop
That's it. Easy and fun.
Enjoy...
